Employee Spotlight

BrendaBrenda Zobeck is currently employed as an Administrative Assistant for the Center for Advanced Drug Development. She first began working for the College in January, 1993, when she was hired to provide administrative support for the interim director, Dr. Roman Bilous, of the newly funded Center for Advanced Drug Development.

Her most memorable moment while at the College of Pharmacy was the summer she turned 40.  Her co-workers put a sign at the entrance of the Oakdale Campus to inform anyone who drove by, that Brenda was indeed turning 40.  She then surprised her co-workings as well by coming to work using a walker, wearing support hose and white orthopedic shoes, a lovely polyester green floral dress with matching pill box hat!

After she retires she hopes to have enough money to saved to travel at leisure. She would also like to be involved in some type of volunteer work. Brenda has five nieces ranging in ages 4 to 12 whom she enjoys spending time wtih. She also has a dog named Duncan who goes almost everywhere she does.

Brenda loves to bike on the trails in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota with friends. She also likes to spend time having coffee with friends.

Her perfect meal includes almost anything Mexican and her perfect vacation would be spending a month touring on a bike during the fall months in the New England area or Europe.  However, she adds that she would hopefully have a backup sag wagon and she would need to stay overnight in hotels—not camping.
