Carrie Barnes is a Research and Develoment Project Leader for Pharmaceutical Services. Her husband Tom, and children Jacob, Nathan, and Ainsley live in Iowa City. She enjoys scrabooking, baking and reading and is involved with hemophilia education and advocacy. |

Matt Cantrell, PharmD, is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist / Assistant Professor (Clinical) at the Iowa City VA Medical Center. He and his wife Jessica have two dogs, Wrigley and Milo. His hobbies include spending time with family and dogs, pheasant huting, and Iowa football. They reside in Swisher. |

Kathleen E. Horner, PharmD, is an Assistant Professor (Clinical) in the division of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy and a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Ambulatory Care at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She received her Pharm.D. degree from the University of Iowa in 2004 and completed ASHP-accredited PGY1 (2004-2005) and PGY2 (2005-2006) residencies in Ambulatory Care at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Her primary practices sites include the Anticoagulation, Internal Medicine/Pharmaceutical Case Management, and Geriatrics Clinics. She serves as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and student pharmacists in these clinical areas. In addition to her areas of practice, her other interests include management of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes. She enjoys scrapbooking, spending time with family, and Iowa Hawkeye sporting events. |

Dean Donald E. Letendre, PharmD, was appointed Dean of the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy effective September 25, 2007. Before joining the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy Dr. Letendre was Professor and Dean of the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy from 2001. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky and began his academic career as assistant professor at the University of Kansas. Some of Dean Letendre's hobbies include biking, playing basketball, and spending time with family. |

Joshua Mara joined CADD (Center for Advanced Drug Development) as a Chemist on June 27th and lives in Iowa City. His parents live in Swisher and he has two brothers, one in Cedar Rapids and one in Cedar Falls. His hobbies include umpiring baseball, officiating basketball, and training for the Music City Marathon.

Joyce Marner is a Research Assistant in the Clinical and Administrative Division. She is married, has one son and one dog and lives in rural Johnson County. Joyce likes singing, playing the flute, and jogging in her spare time. |

Linnea Polgreen, joined the College of Pharmacy in July, 2007, as an Associate in Pharmaceutical Socioeconomics, Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy. She lives in Iowa City and is originally from Rockford, IL. Her husband, Phil, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Disesases in the College of Medicine, and they have two children; Andrew and Vivian, three-year-old twins! She enjoys playing outside with her children and watching movies with her husband.

Mary Starry is an Instructor (Clinical) for the Pharmacy Practice Lab (PPL). Her and her husband, Terry, and dog Josie, live on the Coralville Reservoir close to Sandy Beach. She has two sons Cody and Corey who live in Cedar Rapids, and five grandchildren, Tyler, Isaac, Ashlynn, Peyton, and Caleb. Mary enjoys golfing, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, anything science related, computers and technology, reading all varieties of books, and traveling with her husband. |

Tamara Wilde is a part-time Project Assistant for the Clinical & Administrative Pharmacy (CAP) Division of the College of Pharmacy. She coordinates the CAP Seminars and Research Day, and assists with recruiting for graduate and residency programs. |
