On January 24, the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy hosted an event in response to the recent fungal meningitis outbreak caused by improperly compounded injections at the New England Compounding Center. The event hosted experts in the field of compounding, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and drug product quality, and provided students a forum for learning and discussion.

The Daily Iowan covered the event, and ran an article on January 25. For more information, please read the article.
