| Dr. Cannon's
research interests include synthetic organic chemistry, chemical pharmacology,
heterocyclic chemistry, structure-activity relationships, and the
stereochemistry of nerve hormones and of nerve hormone receptors.
He retired from active teaching and research in October 1996. |
