ADMISSION INFORMATION

GENERAL

INFORMATION
To be considered for admission, applicants must have:

  • A bachelor's degree (international applicants must have a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelors degree).

  • Minimum cumulative grade-point average 3.00
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores - no minimum requirements
  • International applicants are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), earning a score of at least 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based), or 81 (internet based).
  • Complete application with fee. A non-refundable application processing fee of $85 for foreign applications (U.S. currency) and $60 for U.S. or permanent residents is required of every applicant and must accompany your application in order for your request for admission to be considered.top of page

  • Completed online or download version of Application for Graduate Admission
  • Application fee
  • Official GRE score report (Institutional Code is 6681, Pharmacy Department Code is 0613)
  • Official TOEFL score reports for International students.
    Contact the Office of International Admissions at 319-335-1534 if you have questions. (Institutional Code is 6681)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended

APPLICATION DEADLINES
Note: Admissions are typically made for the fall session. On rare occasions admissions will be granted for the spring and summer session.

Fall Session April 15
If financial assistance is requested we recommend submission of all application materials by February 1st.
