WHEN IS THE APPLICATION DEADLINE? April 15th. If financial assistance is requested we recommend submission of all application materials by February 1st. The division of Pharmaceutics deadline is March 1st.

These graduate assistantships are awarded on a competitive basis, and all aspects of an applicant's record are taken into consideration. Decisions regarding assistantships for incoming graduate students usually are made early in the spring semester. Early application gives faculty members time to consider requests for financial assistance, particularly those that may qualify for research assistantships. At the time of admission you will be notified by letter if awarded a financial assistantship. Fellowships available from the Graduate College can be viewed at http://www.grad.uiowa.edu/students/FinancialSupport/Fellowships/Index.asp
