SNPhA is an education and service association of pharmacy students and high school affiliate members concerned about pharmacy, health care issues, and the need for greater minority representation in pharmacy and other health professions.

Operation Immunization is co-chaired by SNPhA each fall to promote influenza and other vaccines to the general public. Information is distributed to local pharmacies and clinics are set up to advocate for and educate about vaccinations. Members of the organization screen patients before their vaccine and get a chance to endorse a pharmacy education to the patients.
Walk for Diabetes: Another major project of SNPhA is the annual Walk for Diabetes sponsorship. The organization raises money for diabetes education and research by involving the entire College of Pharmacy, and members participate in the walk. Poison Prevention is another community project that involves educating elementary students about the dangers and benefits of chemicals and drugs. This takes place yearly in March.
Human Rights Week: SNPhA has also participated in the University’s Human Rights Week. In the past, this has involved such things as a booth in the IMU to promote the pharmacy profession. This ranges from selling College of Pharmacy materials to offering parents gifts to purchase fro their children at graduation. The organization is open to anyone with a desire to learn more about pharmacy, and new members are always welcome.
