Graduate Program - admissions

  • To be considered for admission, applicants must have:
  • A bachelor's degree (international applicants must have a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelors degree).
  • Minimum cumulative grade-point average 3.00
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores (there is no minimal required score)
  • International applicants are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), earning a score of at least 600 (paper-based) or at least 250 (computer-based).
  • Complete application with fee. A non-refundable application processing fee of $85 for foreign applications ( U.S. currency) and $60 for U.S. or permanent residents is required of every applicant and must accompany your application in order for your request for admission to be considered.

Admission to the graduate program in Pharmaceutics is competitive. Applicants are ranked based upon their GRE, TOEFL, GPA, letters of recommendation and experience. Admission is offered to the top students based upon the number of openings available. To be considered for teaching assistantships, research assistantships or fellowships, all application materials must be received in the Division by March 1
