Nomination Information for Alumni Awards
Honorary Alumni Award
Criteria for Selection:
- An individual who has made distinguished contributions to the theory and practice of pharmacy or has demonstrated
major accomplishments in a professional pharmacy practice or in pharmaceutical research and development.
- An individual who has managed or directed an organization that has made noteworthy national or international contributions to the pharmacy profession.
- An individual who has contributed truly exceptional service to their community, the College, the profession or the public.
To nominate, please send in a one page word document (maximum) to pharmacy-alumni@uiowa.edu that states:
- your name and contact information
- the individual's name you wish to nominate and the applicable award
- 1-2 paragraphs on why you feel they are deserving of the award (if possible, list career and personal accomplishments, as above)
- the nominee's current home mailing address, email address, and work information if applicable
Distinguished Alumni Award
Criteria for Selection:
- An individual who has made distinguished contributions to the theory and practice of pharmacy or has demonstrated major accomplishments in a professional pharmacy practice or in pharmaceutical research and development.
- An individual who has managed or directed an organization that has made noteworthy national or international contributions to the pharmacy profession.
- An individual who has contributed truly exceptional service to their community, the College, the profession or the public.
- The individual must be a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy.
To nominate, please send in a one page word document (maximum) to pharmacy-alumni@uiowa.edu that states:
- your name and contact information
- the individual's name you wish to nominate and the applicable award
- 1-2 paragraphs on why you feel they are deserving of the award (if possible, list career and personal accomplishments, as above)
